The task
Track expenses, budgets, subscriptions and loans in one place without handing financial data to yet another service.
What I did
Designed and built the app in Nuxt, with Capacitor for iOS. It creates a spreadsheet on first sign-in and reads and writes it straight from the device; a sheet can be shared so several people edit the same records. Reminders for loan payments and the monthly budget run on the device.
Result
Qalta is out on the App Store. It has no accounts, and the server stores nothing about anyone: it only serves the app, the public pages and exchange rates.
